Polaris Group, LLC provides applied AI consulting, hands-on coaching, software development and implementation, delivered by Jason Bowman.

01 What we do

  • Consulting and direction. Clarify where AI can help, choose a useful starting point, and scope a practical next step.
  • Hands-on coaching. Learn to use AI on your own research, preparation, writing and analysis, including how to check results and apply your judgment.
  • Building and implementation. Put an agreed idea into practice through custom tools, automations, data integrations or workflow improvements.

Work directly with Jason Bowman. We start with your goals and the tools and constraints of your organization.

02Consulting time

We agree the right package and price with you directly before you buy, based on the work you want to do.

Packages are paid in full upfront. Any taxes that apply are stated before you pay.

03How purchased time is used

  • Scheduled consultations of 30 or 60 minutes.
  • Work outside meetings starts only after you approve a time cap for it. We keep a delivery record of the work done and the time it used.
  • Minimum and increments. Each meeting or work item uses at least 30 minutes; time after that is counted in 15-minute increments, rounded up. A 40-minute meeting uses 45 minutes; a 10-minute task uses 30.
  • No expiry. Purchased time stays available until you use it or ask for a refund of what is unused.

04Consulting hours

Eastern time (New York), following daylight saving time:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Meeting details are confirmed when a time is booked.

05Cancellations and refunds

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before a meeting and all time reserved for it is released. Reschedule at least 24 hours before and the reserved time is carried to the new time, with nothing deducted.
  • A cancellation or reschedule by you with less notice uses 30 minutes of purchased time, never more than the time reserved for that meeting.
  • If we cancel, all reserved time is released. If we reschedule, it is carried to the new time.
  • Eligible unused time is refundable in proportion to the price you paid, with no processing fee deducted.

06How to buy

There is no additional subscription charge for managing your consulting time. Consulting hours and AI usage credits are separate.

To schedule consulting time or buy a package, tell us what you would like to work on and the times that suit you through the inquiry form, or email hello@appliedsi.consulting. We confirm that the work is a good fit, then arrange payment and your first session.
